These photographs have all been taken and the technique of close up has been used. This is a good technique as it shows the intricate details of objects which our eyes would not normally see. Close up photography is good at showing the details on animals like the eyes of a reptile and cat as the picture shows. Due to it being shot at such a close angle it shows the details and colouring of the eyes and area surrounding the eye. The photograph of the spider is showing the details of the hairs and colouring of its hair and skin. This is something our human eye does not pick up. The photograph of the dog shows the detailing of its nose, especially as the camera has focused solely on the nose. The photograph of the cherry covered in sugar and lips shows the granules of sugar stuck on the cherry and the lines in the lips both are things which the human eye would struggle to pick up if we looked at them at a distance.  I like the way that close up photographs capture the detailing which we stuffle to see in everyday life.
