Image Bank - Minimum Depth of Field

This photograph is showing a landscape viewer at a seaside but the viewer is in main focus where as the background is less clear. This is making the viewe the main focus of the photograph instead of the background.  

This photograph of a snake captures the fine detailing of its skin aswell as its bold colours. The background is completely blurred out and the snake is in full focus. 

These photographs are showing the minimum depth of field using natural objects. These photographs show the detailing of the flowers and leaves whilst blurring the background, the first photograph is showing the fencing not in focus so that the bold colour of the flower is clearer. 

This photograph is showing a row of diet coke cans and the central one is the only one in which the writing is clear enough to see, this shows that although the cans are in a row and showing depth, the middle one is the only one in focus.
