These four photographs are showing the use of multiple image using human models. When the different flashes go off the models have moved either their arms to create a motion of them movie their hands above their head like in the photograph above or simply just moving their position like the photographs of the young boy, Paul or the older man. This is a way to create q multiple image without having to edit all the photographs together.
These two photographs are of objects as the subjects. The first photograph is showing a deck of cards as it is either thrown or dropped, only one card is bright and that is because that is the card which was at the front and so the flash was focused on that card. The second is of a knife being swiped down onto a tomato or an apple, this captures the motions of the hand aswell as the knife.
