These three images are showing a slow frame of powders colliding with brushes. In two of the images there are two brushes and the camera has captured the powder as it is leaving the brush hairs. I like how in one of the images they have used a bold colour for the powders instead of the normal neutral tones of a face powder as i feel it captures a bigger contrast between the colours. However even on the image with more neutral tones one powder is lighter than the other which has still created a contrast between the two powders. The third image is showing a singular brush being dropped/dipped into some pink powder and again it has used a long exposure time in order to capture the effect of the brush being lifted, and the powder following the brush as it comes up.

These 4 images are showing different ways to display lipstick. 2 of the images are showing several different lipsticks which have all been cut out of the lipstick holders. By placing them next too each other you can see a direct contrast of the colours. This may be a technique used by photographers who are advertising lipsticks as it can show the range of colours available to be purchased. In another one of these 4 images, there are several lipsticks which are all still in their cases and are positioned in a half semi-circle and the colours go from light to dark as they go around the semi- circle. The fourth image has many lipsticks standing up and facing one direction. They are positioned similarly to how they would be on a stand in a beauty counter, there is some shadowing created due to the positioning of the lights.
These four images are representing a 'weird' take on beauty. The first image of Miley Cyrus is showing her covered in a silver glitter/body paint. The next image is showing a model with pop art themed makeup on. This is representing a more comic style of beauty. There is also another image which has got a model who has several bold colours of paint smeared across the models eyelids. The last image is of a model who has got a flower painted onto her face, as well as the use of other bold colours. All four of these images have used paints and bold makeup in order to create unique takes on beauty photography.
These two images are showing the advertisment of different beauty product. In one of the images, a berry theme is shown and this may be due to the dark shade of red that is of the lipstick. It creates more of a colour/product theme rather than an plain image of a lipstick. The second image is showing the advertisement of several different branded products which are all of a similar colour. The photographer has also added sweets which have got similar colours to the products to the image in order to make the image more exciting and eye catching.

These five images have been taken by different photographers but they all share the common theme which is showing beauty through the use of different lip products and designs. Two of the images are showing two lipsticks being applied onto a models lips. This captures both the process of application and the finished look. These photographs capture the two different textures of the lipsticks well. Another one of the images is showing a model with two different colours of lipstick on, this creates a good contrasting look. Another one of these images is showing a model who has got coloured sugar stuck to her lips whilst holding a boldly coloured macaroon between her lips. The last image is of a models lips who has had a lip-sticker/lip paint on her lips in a pattern to create a paint splatter look on the lips.
These two images are showing models with more dramatic bold coloured makeup on. In the first image the powdered makeup used has been left sprinkled on the models face. In the second image them model has got a more citrus coloured eyemakeup and a more neutral colour on the lip. They are both showing dramatic makeup styles.
Theses two images are showing the applicators which are used to apply makeup. The image on the left is showing the more typical brushes used arranged into a circle with all the brush tips pointing forward. The second image is showing several sponge applicators on a models hand whilst there is some pressed powder which has been sprinkled on the top. This image is showing a variety of blushed powders which have been layered upon one another. This creates a direct and bold contrast between the shades of pink. It also captures the texture well as it is showing the crushed powder against the smooth pan.
